Oppo and Honor are gearing up for the highly anticipated launch of their upcoming flagship smartphones, with the Chinese tech giants reportedly working on the Oppo Reno 11 series and Honor 100 series. Serving as successors to the Oppo Reno 10 series and Honor 90 lineups, these new devices are generating significant buzz in the tech community.
While the official release date for these smartphones is yet to be announced by the companies, sources suggest that the much-anticipated unveiling is slated for November 23. According to reports, this date will witness the debut of the Oppo Reno 11 series, featuring models such as Oppo Reno 11, Oppo Reno 11 Pro, and Oppo Reno 11 Pro+. Simultaneously, Honor is expected to host a launch event for the Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro on the same day, scheduled for 1:30 pm.
Insights into the specifications of these devices have started to emerge. The Honor 100 series is anticipated to boast a 1.5K resolution display with 3,840Hz pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Furthermore, it is speculated to incorporate dual front-facing cameras, marking a notable upgrade from the Honor 90 series.
On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 11 series is expected to feature a curved display, along with periscope telephoto and macro cameras. The design might include a glass back panel, adding a touch of sophistication to the devices. While specifics about the internal hardware, such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, have surfaced, the finer details of the Oppo Reno 11 series are still shrouded in anticipation.
It’s worth noting that both the Honor 100 series and the Oppo Reno 11 series represent significant advancements over their predecessors. The Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro, launched in China in May, set initial price tags at CNY 2,499 (approximately ₦275,229.71) and CNY 3,299 (approximately ₦363,338.46), respectively.
Despite the growing excitement surrounding these impending releases, neither Oppo nor Honor has officially disclosed any details about the launch of the Reno 11 and Honor 100 phones. As with any pre-release information, it’s advisable to approach these details with a degree of caution until the official announcements are made.
