The highly awaited Honor 100 series is set to make its debut, succeeding the Honor 90 lineup unveiled earlier this year in May. This upcoming series is poised to introduce two models: the standard Honor 100 and the top-tier Honor 100 Pro, mirroring the structure of the previous Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro models. In a recent Weibo post, Honor confirmed that the Honor 100 series will be unveiled in China on November 23. The announcement emphasized that the Honor 100 phones will not only bring a “refreshing technological aesthetic design” but also elevate “the product function experience,” promising a “full-scoring masterpiece.” The post was accompanied by the hashtag “Glory 100 Full Score Photogenic.”
Earlier leaks have suggested that the Honor 100 Pro might feature a 1.5K resolution display with a PWM dimming rate of 3,840Hz. Powering this handset is expected to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and it is rumoured to come equipped with dual front cameras.
Anticipate substantial upgrades with the Honor 100 series over its predecessor, the Honor 90. The Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro are driven by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoCs, respectively. These devices boast full-HD+ curved OLED displays, featuring a refresh rate of 120Hz, peak brightness levels up to 1,600 nits, and a PWM dimming rate of 3,840Hz. The standard model flaunts a 6.7-inch panel, while the Pro variant boasts a larger 6.78-inch screen. Both phones house robust 5,000mAh batteries, with 66W and 90W wired fast charging support for the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro, respectively.
The Honor 90 series offered vibrant colour options in China, including Bright Black, Ice Feather Blue, Ink Jade Green, and Star Diamond Silver. In terms of pricing, the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage starts at CNY 2,499 (₦292,000.00), while the Pro model, with the same memory configuration, is priced at CNY 3,299 (₦386,000.00).
