Realme appears poised to unveil the highly anticipated Realme GT Neo 6 in the near future, even though the company hasn’t officially disclosed any details yet. Recent leaks have, however, provided significant insights into the upcoming GT Neo series device. Notably, it is rumored to feature a robust 16GB RAM, a substantial 5,000mAh battery, and impressive 100W fast charging capabilities. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is also expected to power this cutting-edge smartphone.
A Chinese tipster has recently leaked pricing details regarding the Realme GT Neo 6. According to their Weibo post, the handset is projected to be competitively priced at below CNY 2,000 (approximately Rs. 22,000). Additionally, it is speculated to boast an aluminium frame and potentially run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
Initial leaks had hinted at a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC for the Realme GT Neo 6, complemented by a substantial 16GB RAM and a capacious 1TB onboard storage. The device is anticipated to showcase a 6.74-inch OLED display with an impressive 1.5K resolution and a remarkable 144Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, a robust 5,000mAh battery, coupled with the convenience of 100W charging support, is expected.
Positioned as the successor to the Realme GT Neo 5, the upcoming Realme GT Neo 6 is highly awaited. The GT Neo 5, launched in February in China, presented consumers with two charging options. The variant equipped with 240W fast charging support was priced at CNY 3,199 (approximately ₦352,353.87) for the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage model. Meanwhile, the 150W variant started at CNY 2,499 (roughly ₦275,252.36) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration.
The Realme GT Neo 5 boasted a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a remarkable 144Hz refresh rate, fueled by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Its camera setup featured a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfie enthusiasts, a 16-megapixel Samsung S5K3P9 sensor was incorporated. The device housed a 4,600mAh battery in the 240W variant and a 5,000mAh battery in the 150W variant.
