Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 13 series in China last September, encompassing the standard Redmi Note 13, the Redmi Note 13 Pro, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. This trio boasts a spacious 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED display. Now, anticipation builds as the Chinese manufacturer gears up to launch this impressive lineup globally. Adding fuel to the excitement, reports indicate that the 4G version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro has recently secured FCC certification.
According to insights from MySmartPrice, the FCC listing spills some essential details about the anticipated Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G variant. Notably, the device could feature a robust 200-megapixel primary camera equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS), complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. Operating on Android 13-based MIUI 14 straight out of the box, the FCC listing, unfortunately, doesn’t divulge further specifics about this eagerly awaited handset.
Expanding the intrigue, the FCC certification site not only showcases the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G but also unveils another 4G contender – the Poco M6 Pro 4G. Interestingly, this seems to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G. As per the report, the Poco M6 Pro 4G, identified as model number 2312FPCA6G, is expected to house a 64-megapixel primary camera supported by OIS, diverging from the 200-megapixel sensor featured in the Note 13 Pro 4G model. The Poco handset will also include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and is rumoured to run on MIUI 14. Notably, Xiaomi has not officially confirmed any details about these two intriguing handsets.
Recalling the Redmi Note 13 series debut in China, the Note 13 Pro 5G made an impactful entrance with its 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, coupled with up to 16GB RAM and a capacious 512GB onboard storage. The 5G model aligns with the camera specifications outlined in the FCC listing for its 4G counterpart and incorporates a substantial 5,100mAh battery, supporting 67W wired fast charging.
Meanwhile, the Poco M6 Pro 5G variant, launched in India in August, flaunts a 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, it offers up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The dual rear camera setup comprises a 50-megapixel AI sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, adding to the allure of this dynamic smartphone.
